How to cut demos in Keygrip2

1. Make a backup of the demo. It is a good habit when using such buggy software as KG.

2. Now to keygrip. Open the demo. If KG asks "Multi-Level demo detected, would you like to save additional levels?", you can answer "No". This question appears if you didn't stop recording before server changed map, so no need to worry about anything.

3. Open Demo Server . In the Demo Server window press . A Q2 preview window should be opened. It connects and loads maybe a half minute. Wait while it does that.

4. Wind up the demo to a block position where you want the new cut demo to be started. Note that the current block will be deleted too. Press and then in KG main window Edit -> Delete.

5. Now roll forward till a block where you want the demo end. Press and from KG again Edit -> Delete.

6. Save the demo to .dm2 format and check result of the job. Ammo shot from blaster, hyperblaster or threwn handgrenades might be white boxes. Instructions for fixing it above:
